This project involved the renovation and energy upgrade of 11 no. one-bedroom units to provide accommodation for elderly persons in Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. The scheme meets the accessibility and social requirements of the tenants, with the units renovated to provide highly efficient thermal envelopes with low heating costs. The landscaping has been redesigned to provide comfortable level access to each dwelling, whilst the fabric and services upgrades delivered an A3 building energy rating for each of the units.
