The project is designed to provide a full range of primary care services which are based on meeting the assessed needs of the local community. The architectural intention for the two-storey building is to form a new edge along Circular Road in Tubbercurry, its cranked shape following the corner of the site, providing frontage to two roads. The parapet slopes upwards at the northern corner of the building to give the impression of a third storey, enhancing the presence of the dynamic structure. A robust dark brick façade faces the roadway, with areas of rendered blockwork and splashes of coloured Cladding Panels used to enliven what is an otherwise backlands area.
